Frankston Dolphins WFC

Prior to implementing their women’s football programme in 2017 the Dolphins had enjoyed a fair amount of success with their junior girls teams. Initially at least, the seniors failed to follow in their under age counterparts’ footsteps. Indeed, they managed just a single win from 14 matches to finish above only Morwell East on the sixteen team South Eastern Women’s Football League Development Division premiership ladder. In 2018 they began plying their trade in the Southern Football Netball League’s Division Two competition. They did well, qualifying for the finals and ultimately finishing third.
